This page is maintained by the MyTradie team to answer common questions about using the app and how your data is handled. Last updated 14 July 2026.
MyTradie is a personal address book that lets you save trusted tradies, share picks with people you invite into your circle, and get AI help organising jobs and reminders. MyTradie does not employ, endorse or guarantee any tradie listed in your book.
You need an account to use MyTradie. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You own the tradie details, notes, ratings and messages you add. By adding content to MyTradie you grant us a limited licence to store and display it back to you and to the people you explicitly share it with. Do not add content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes on someone else's privacy or intellectual property.
Ratings and reviews reflect your personal opinion. When you invite someone into your circle, they can see the tradies you have chosen to share and the notes you attached. Choose what you share carefully.
The Ask feature uses AI models to help you draft messages, summarise notes and plan jobs. AI output can be inaccurate. Review anything the assistant suggests before acting on it.
MyTradie is currently offered in selected suburbs. We may add, remove or change features at any time, and we may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
MyTradie is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or from work performed by any tradie you find through it.

Your tradie list is private to you unless you explicitly share a tradie with a contact in your circle. We do not sell your personal information.
We use trusted providers to host the app, store data, send email, and power the AI assistant. They only process your data on our instructions.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use this only to create and sign you in to your MyTradie account.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete content from within the app, or ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing us.
You can review and update your profile at any time, remove tradies or notes, revoke circle access, or close your account. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, contact us below.
We use standard security practices — encrypted connections, access controls, and per-user data isolation — to protect your data. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.
If we make material changes we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
